In the antiquitous age of 2︎0︎1︎6︎, Broderick Chavez and his research assistant penned their thoughts on Sports Nutrition in the now somewhat famous book Sticky Notes Sports Nutrition.

It truly outlines Broderick's thoughts on nutrition and does not exaggerate or glorify the use or necessity of OTC supplements. There are definitely a few products mentioned, including zinc, chromium, magnesium, and a few others. Buy the book if you are interested in the specifics.

The fundamentals of the book are the fundamentals of nutrition, and one of those is appropriately defining and applying the correct macronutrients in the proper volumes. Paramount amongst that, carbohydrates and a subset of carbohydrates would be green vegetables and or Fiber.

Where is he going with this, you ask? Well, it's very easy, potentially almost unavoidable, to achieve one's fiber requisites while not yet achieving all of the appropriately prescribed green and/or colored vegetables. Enter OTC greens products.
Although in the book Broderick does not directly recommend a greens product, it is a viable tool,” Tool” being the keyword in achieving a well-designed, easily applicable dietary design.  With that being said, he can say with a very straight face that Strom-branded greens products have been in his home and been in his repertoire for about five years. It should be pointed out that that precedes his knowledge of an interaction with Richard Foster, the owner of Strom. It's simply that he found it an effective product, purchased it with his own money and volition, and found that to be a very amicable arrangement.

The product is of the appropriate quality and Design to meet Broderick's needs. There were, in fact, three minor caveats that he was able to overlook, but given Mr Foster's opportunity, he felt the need to rectify and then ultimately make available to all of you.

The three major points that needed rectification were flavor, slightly less antioxidants than necessary, and the fact that every morning, he would consume his with vitamin C. It would be very convenient if greens contained said vitamin C.
Regarding the flavor, mango has always brought to mind a mental image complete with olfactory sensation of what he would expect two homeless people fucking in a refrigerator carton under an overpass might smell like.
So anything other than mango would be appropriate.  Being American, iced tea seemed completely reasonable and palatable as the flavoring choice.  That decision then led Broderick to the thought that black tea for iced tea lent itself particularly well to the addition of green tea, therefore EGCG conquering the perceived deficiency in antioxidants. The vitamin C was easy enough to justify, but just to make the Serendipity complete, it turns out that the tartness of ascorbic acid very closely mimics the tartness of acetic acid that one might find in a wedge of lemon that you would typically put in a glass of American iced tea.
